I recently saw a very good article in the Broomfield Enterprise about a new group helping job seekers to better understand the job seeking process. High Hopes Unlimited opened in Broomfield to help job seekers and those recently unemployed find work threw networking and refinement of skills needed to impress new employers. High Hopes meets on alternate Saturdays at the Lutheran Church of Hope on Broomfield. The next meeting is Saturday the 28th.
Looking for work is work. When you are unemployed your job is to look for work. After you have gotten the kids off to school looking for work will be your new job. Many people get depressed or to laid back in the search process. High Hopes is a group that helps people stay on track and provides guidance on resumes and the interview process as well as just providing support to those looking for workand how to get thier next paycheck.
