As the longest-standing privately-owned PEO in Colorado, our team of experts knows how to ensure your team is cared for. More than a new system to implement for your company, we are a team of people who understand and care for the needs of each individual employee.

Jim Thibodeau

President

Jim founded StaffScapes in 1996 armed with a thorough understanding and appreciation of the challenges and realities of small business ownership. With more than 25 years of business experience, including management at REI, Jim oversees daily operations at StaffScapes as well as sales and marketing, Workers’ Compensation, and Administration and Risk Management.

Jim is an avid outdoorsman. He’s served on the board of the Colorado Walleye Association and is an accomplished rock climber. In addition, Jim enjoys spending time with his family as they boat, fish, hike, ride and explore.

Jake Stratton

Controller/CFO

A 1995 graduate of the University of Florida’s Fischer School of Accounting, Jake began his PEO career shortly after graduation when he helped establish and direct a Florida PEO and then served as its Controller and Vice President. After moving to Colorado, Jake was recruited to join StaffScapes in 2000 and currently oversees Fiscal Management, Payroll, Taxes, Wage Garnishments, and HR Compliance. He holds a Colorado Property & Casualty license, providing an additional resource to StaffScapes clients.

In his spare time, Jake is active with his family and enjoys participating in his children’s activities including Boy Scouts and softball. He enjoys camping and sports, and holds leadership positions within his church.

Heather Champlin

Benefits Manager

Heather has been with StaffScapes since 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Metro State University and began her career in the insurance industry at a small niche company specializing in sports casualty insurance. In 2012, Heather earned her Colorado Property & Casualty license becoming a Licensed Agent. She later joined the StaffScapes team in 2015 and moved into the role of Benefits Specialist working with clients on their health, voluntary and retirement benefits. In 2016, Heather earned her Colorado Life & Health license.

Heather enjoys taking in all the wonderful sights Colorado has to offer while camping and hiking. She is active in sports, especially soccer and coaching volleyball. She also enjoys spending time with her large family.

Scott Trautwein

Solutions Advisor

Scott came to StaffScapes in 2017 with a deep understanding of the obstacles faced by small and mid-sized business owners after 30 years of running a multi-site business with 25 employees. His education background includes a minor in Business Administration.

Scott gives back to his community by offering his leadership skills on various boards, including 4 years on a Chamber of Commerce board, 8 years on a school board (including 4 as President), and 12 years on his church board with 8 of those as Chairman.

Andrea Rohman

HR Director

Andrea has been working in Human Resources and Operations for the last 9 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Metro State University and began a career in sports medicine. In 2014, Andrea earned her master’s degree from Colorado State University Global which led her to a career in Human Resources. Andrea returned to StaffScapes in November 2021 as the Human Resources Director. She works with the clients on any employee relations issues as well as overseeing the other HR team members in creating handbooks, unemployment claims, workers compensation claims management, and any other HR issues that arise.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family whether it be hanging out at home, camping, or doing other activities.

Kelly Moser

Client Relations Specialist

Kelly works with all our team members in their specialized areas to provide support for day-to-day operations. She also has the pleasure of working with our clients and their employees daily assisting with questions, report requests, online system issues, and much more. Kelly has almost 20 years of customer service experience in office environments as well as retail. She greatly enjoys connecting with people and building relationships as well as working through problems with clients, employees, and team members.

Ashley Mauch

Payroll Specialist

Ashley has been working in payroll for over 8 years. She is the primary payroll processor for all of StaffScapes’ clients. She also works with our other team members to make sure that all benefit and tax information is updated for all the employees when we process their paychecks. Ashley enjoys communicating with our clients and their employees as well as working to ensure all their needs are met. Lastly, she enjoys sharing her payroll knowledge with our other team members and enjoys learning about other team members’ areas of expertise.

Dana Thibodeau

Retirement Specialist

Dana joined StaffScapes in August 2022 as a Retirement Specialist and will be working with our clients on all thing’s retirement. She has a career background in finance and accounting. Dana graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s in finance and a Master of Accountancy. She has worked within wealth management as well as public accounting to build a strong knowledge base. She has a minor in Spanish and loved her time studying abroad in Argentina.

Dana is a Colorado native and loves all things outdoors. From camping to skiing, she loves all Colorado has to offer but her passions lie in helping others succeed financially and she plans to do that in a major way here at StaffScapes.

Lindsey Emmel

Benefits Specialist

Lindsey Emmel joined the StaffScapes team in September 2022. She enjoys meeting new people and finding ways to help them have an uplifting experience. People find her to be an upbeat, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Lindsey received her degree in Business Administration from Culver-Stockton College. She is looking forward to beginning her HR career with StaffScapes learning the ins and outs of benefits. Lindsey is excited to work with our team and alongside all of our clients.

Jack Thibodeau

IT Specialist

Jack Thibodeau joined StaffScapes in 2022 as an IT specialist. Jack has a career background in web development and design. In 2019, Jack received 3 bachelor’s degrees from Western Colorado University in Computer Science, Graphic design and a B.F.A. in photography. He has a passion for solving problems with technology and creating user friendly solutions that work for everyone.

Living in the Rocky Mountains, Jack spends every chance he has outside, from mountain biking, skiing, climbing, fishing, hunting and motocross. At StaffScapes, Jack will best use his skill sets by utilizing technology to make every client and coworkers day smoother and easier.

Georgia Cook

HR Assistant

Georgia started her HR career with StaffScapes after spending 5 years in the United States Army. Georgia’s education from Colorado State University and background in the military, make her an effective communicator and well versed in teamwork. She also excels at increasing productivity within an organization and is eager and enthusiastic when it comes to learning. She is looking forward to working closely with the StaffScapes team and all our clients.

Tricia Glann

Payroll Analyst

Tricia joined StaffScapes in June 2023. She has over 15 years of payroll processing and payroll tax experience combined between the service bureau side and internal payroll administration. She loves the unique combination of crunching numbers and helping people in the service bureau/PEO world. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Harrison College in her home state of Indiana. Tricia handles multi-state payroll taxes, payroll processing, and various accounting duties at StaffScapes. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and binge watching TV shows.
