Jim Thibodeau – President
With more than 20 years of business experience, including management at REI, Jim founded StaffScapes in 1996 armed with a thorough understanding and appreciation of the challenges and realities of small business ownership.
Jim oversees daily operations at StaffScapes as well as sales and marketing, Workers’ Compensation and Administration and Risk Management. He has been certified in Risk Management and Occupational Safety Administration and is available to assess potential issues at client locations.
When not working, Jim is an avid outdoorsman. He served prior on the board of the Colorado Walleye Association and is a former noted and accomplished rock climber. In addition, Jim enjoys spending time with his family as they boat, fish, hike, ride and explore.
Jake Stratton – Controller/CFO
A 1995 graduate of the University of Florida’s Fischer School of Accounting, Jake began his PEO career shortly after graduation when he helped establish and direct a Florida PEO and then served as its Controller and Vice President. After moving to Colorado, Jake was recruited to join StaffScapes in 2000 and currently oversees fiscal management, payroll, taxes, wage garnishments and HR compliance. In 2003, Jake earned his Colorado Property & Casualty license, providing an additional resource to StaffScapes clients.
In his spare time, Jake is active with his family and enjoys participating in his children’s activities including Boy Scouts and softball. He enjoys camping and sports and holds leadership positions within his church.
