March 22  injury prevention workshop presented by the Denver/Boulder BBB and Pinnacol Assurance.

Between 2001 – 2004, strains and sprains caused by overexertion and repetition accounted for 29% of all claims filed by Pinnacol policyholders. This course teaches attendees how to apply ergonomic principles to the design of tools, machinery and industrial workstations. An assessment for evaluating lifting tasks is also provided.

Topics include:

·         Identifying common risk factors for musculoskeletal injuries

·         Reduce employee exposure to risk

·         Examples of real-world solutions
